“I had a garage that did not have a key for the t-lock. I initially called the garage door manufacturer/installer and was told that they would have to come out to replace it because the locks were all different. I wanted to use a local business and called Bear Valley Lock and Key and asked for a service call. I was asked if the lock had a number on it which it did. After I gave them the number I was told that they could cut the key and I could come and get it at the store for $15. This came a quite a surprise and possible only because they have a store. I also bought a mailbox lock because I did not have a key for that as well.
After picking up the key which worked perfectly, I was still unable to get in and needed a key for the vault release to disengage the electric opener. Called back and that was something that someone needed to come out for. I was given an estimate before I asked and we set up an appointment for the next day. Arriving on time, the lock was re-keyed and the door was opened. He also drilled out the lock on the mailbox and replaced it. The charge was exactly the estimate.
